This 1987 Buick Grand National was reportedly purchased new by the current owner’s late spouse from Pitre Buick of Scottsdale, Arizona, and now shows 1,700 miles. The car is powered by a turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and finished in black over two-tone black and Sand Gray upholstery. Service since 2018 is said to have included cleaning and resealing the radiator, charging the air conditioning system, and installing brass freeze plugs in addition to replacing the ABS accumulator, heater core, shocks, belts, hoses, and spark plugs.

An ASC glass sunroof was installed by Arizona Sun Tops in 1987. Highway Star reproduction 15″ aluminum wheels are mounted with 215/65 Goodyear Eagle GT tires, and the removed factory wheels mounted with Goodyear tires will accompany the sale. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums. Service since 2018 is said to have included replacing the shocks and ABS accumulator.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black and Sand Gray cloth, with Turbo 6 embroidery on the front seat headrests. Additional amenities include a power-adjustable driver’s seat, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, and a Delco AM/FM/cassette stereo with a graphic equalizer.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a horizontal 85-mph speedometer, a digital tachometer, and gauges for boost pressure and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 1,700 miles.
The turbocharged 3.8-liter V6 was factory rated at 245 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque. A replacement battery was installed in 2020 and service between 2018 and 2019 reportedly included installing brass freeze plugs, recharging the air conditioning system, changing the fluids, cleaning and resealing the radiator, as well as replacing the following components:
